Where do you ship, and how much does it cost?
We offer complimentary worldwide shipping on all orders over $500, no matter where you are, with no fine print or hidden cost. For orders under $500, shipping is calculated at checkout.
How fast do you ship?
Order processing: 1-2 business days. Production: 5-7 business days. Insured shipping: 2-day express via FedEx domestically, and via DHL for international orders. For custom orders, the shipping depends on the piece itself and will be shared with you once the order is in process. Each custom piece is made to order, so shipping timelines vary depending on the design and destination. Your shipping details will be shared with you once your order is confirmed. Note: During new launches or holidays, shipping can get delayed by a few days. In case of delays, our team will inform you of the status of your order.
What does "made to order" mean?
Many JAUR pieces, including our KISMET rings and all bespoke creations, are handcrafted only after your order is placed. This allows us to create each piece with exceptional care while minimizing unnecessary production and waste.
How can I track my order?
As soon as your piece departs, you'll receive a FedEx tracking link. If you ever lose track, or simply want reassurance, email us at orders@jaurstudio.com and we'll follow up personally.
I haven't received my order confirmation email. What should I do?
Confirmation emails are typically sent within a few minutes of placing your order. If you haven't received yours, please check your spam or promotions folder and verify the email address used at checkout. If it's still missing, contact us at orders@jaurstudio.com, and we'll be happy to resend your order confirmation.
Is my shipment insured?
Yes. Every JAUR order is fully insured from our hands to yours. If it doesn't arrive within seven days of dispatch, contact us immediately, and we'll activate the insurance and send a replacement.
Will my delivery require a signature?
For security, higher-value pieces are shipped fully insured and require a signature on delivery. Once a package is confirmed delivered by the courier, please keep it somewhere safe; we won't be able to cover items lost or stolen after confirmed delivery.
Can I cancel or update my order?
Email us at orders@jaurstudio.com as soon as possible, ideally within a few hours of ordering. We'll do everything we can to make the change before your piece enters production. Once a piece is in production, we may no longer be able to cancel or alter it.
I'm not seeing the correct currency. How can I change it?
Scroll to the top of our site and select your shipping country, and prices adjust automatically to your local currency. If you still need assistance, please email us at orders@jaurstudio.com
Can I have my order gift-wrapped?
Yes. Add gift wrapping at checkout, and we'll present your JAUR piece in our sustainable signature packaging. You can also include a handwritten note to accompany your gift.

How does the bespoke process work?

How long does a bespoke piece take?
Most bespoke pieces are completed in approximately six weeks from final design approval, though timelines may vary depending on the design and stone selection. Because every piece is made individually, we accept only a limited number of bespoke commissions each month, ensuring each one receives the care and attention it deserves. Are bespoke pieces returnable?
Since every bespoke piece is made exclusively for you, all bespoke commissions are final sale (see Returns & Exchanges). We carefully confirm every detail before production begins, ensuring your piece is crafted exactly as intended.
Can I see JAUR pieces in person?
Our Chicago studio is coming soon, a welcoming space to try on pieces, explore bespoke, and experience the craftsmanship behind every JAUR creation. Until our doors open, contact us at hello@jaurstudio.com, and we'll arrange a personal consultation in the way that suits you best.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and a range of local payment methods. Available payment options will be displayed at checkout based on your region. We also offer Klarna, allowing you to pay in four interest-free installments.
What is Klarna, and how do I use it?
Klarna lets you divide your payment into four equal, interest-free parts, with no hidden costs. Select Klarna at checkout, register or log in, confirm your details, and you're done. For more, check Klarna's FAQ and Privacy Policy on their website.
Will my discount code work during promotions?
Promotional offers cannot be combined. During sitewide promotions, discounts are applied automatically at checkout and cannot be used alongside other discount codes.
Will I be charged any extra costs when my order arrives?
The price you see at checkout is the final price you'll pay. No hidden fees or unexpected charges. United States & Canada: all import duties and tariffs are covered by us, even under new trade regulations. Sales tax appears at checkout; nothing extra on arrival, and if refunded, the full amount returns to you. EU, UK, Norway, Switzerland, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia & UAE: VAT and local taxes are built into your checkout total. No additional fees on delivery. All other regions: if local duties apply, you'll see the option to prepay them at checkout, so your piece arrives without pause. (Refund policies may vary by country.)
Why is FedEx asking for my SSN or EIN?
For orders above $2,500 shipping to the U.S., Customs requires importer details to clear the shipment, a standard formality for higher-value pieces. Our courier may reach out by text or email to request your SSN or EIN. Your information is securely shared with U.S. Customs only for customs clearance, never with JAUR or any other third party.
What kind of backing do your piercings use?
Each piercing includes a flat screw-back made for comfort. Our classic diamond studs use standard butterfly backings.
How long are the backings?
Our backings are 8mm long.
Can I wear them anywhere on the ear?
We suggest the earlobe, conch, midi, or inner helix. For a tragus piercing, a shorter post may suit better.
How do I wear it?
Insert the flat screw-back through the back of your piercing, then gently screw on the front piece. Make sure both sides align before tightening.
What's the difference between JAUR Piercings and Studs?
Our Piercing collection is designed to be worn independently, with flat screw-backs for long-term comfort. Diamond Studs use classic posts and butterfly backs for easy daily wear.
What ring sizes do you offer?
Our regular rings are crafted in U.S. sizes 3 to 11, including half sizes. KISMET pinky rings run from size 1.5 to 11. Each piece is made to measure.

Can I exchange my ring if the size isn't right?
Yes. You may exchange or return your ring for a full refund. Because our pieces are produced in small batches, exchanges can take up to three weeks. We encourage you to confirm your ring size before ordering. Please note that all KISMET rings are made to order and are final sale.
Can my ring be resized?
Many JAUR rings can be resized, depending on the design and stone setting. We offer one complimentary resize within 30 days of delivery. Any resizing requested after that is handled as a service, with all applicable costs shared before we begin. Simply email orders@jaurstudio.com with your order number, and we'll let you know what's possible.
Do you offer engraving or personalization?
Yes. We offer engraving on rings for $50 per ring. Because each is personalized for you, engraved pieces are final sale. To arrange it, message orders@jaurstudio.com with your order number and the details you have in mind.
How wide are your bands?
Band width varies by design. Every JAUR ring is crafted in solid gold with a balanced weight and a softly rounded profile for lasting comfort and everyday wear. The exact band width is listed on each product page.

Can I return or exchange my piece?
Of course. We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of delivery. Please make sure that each piece is unworn and returned in its original packaging, with its Certificate of Authenticity included. Made-to-order pieces, including all KISMET rings and bespoke commissions, are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
Are returns and exchanges free?
Always. Shipping is on us, both ways. Once your piece reaches our atelier, your refund is processed in full within five business days.
How do I start a return or exchange?
Email orders@jaurstudio.com with your order number. We'll send a prepaid return label and clear next steps.
Can I return or exchange an item purchased during a promotion?
Yes, our 30-day window still applies. If a return brings your order total below a promotional threshold, the discount adjusts accordingly. This does not apply to our Kismet collection as the pieces are made to order. All Kismet sales are final.
I received a damaged or incorrect product. What should I do?
If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, write to orders@jaurstudio.com within five days of delivery with your order number and a photo. If your piece arrives with a manufacturing defect or you receive the wrong item, we'll make it right. We'll repair, replace, or refund your order at no additional cost.
Can I return a KISMET ring or a bespoke piece?
Please note: our bespoke pieces and all KISMET rings are made to order, so all sales are final. Every piece is still backed by our two-year manufacturing warranty. Reach out at orders@jaurstudio.com and we'll be happy to help with any questions or concerns.
Where is JAUR jewelry made?
Designed in Chicago, handcrafted in Jaipur by fifth-generation artisans. Chicago gives us our discipline, a city built on design, architecture, and intention. Jaipur gives us our hands, generations of craftsmen who understand both the value and the meaning of a stone.
Can I wear my jewelry while showering or swimming?
Always. We work only in solid gold, never plated, never filled, so your pieces stay as they are meant to: unbothered by water, wear, or time. Natural gemstones are the one exception (see jewelry care below).
Is JAUR jewelry safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. Every piece is solid 14K, 18K gold, or white gold, which is nickel-safe, and made for daily wear, without the irritation that plated or filled jewelry can cause over time.
What is the quality of your diamonds?
Every diamond we use meets the highest standards: E-F color, VS1 clarity, excellent cut, graded to the standards of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).
What are lab-grown diamonds, and are they real?

What is your warranty policy?
Every JAUR piece carries a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects. This doesn't cover natural wear, scratches, or accidental damage.
How do I care for my JAUR pieces?
Store each piece separately to avoid scratches, and remove jewelry before applying perfume, lotion, or hairspray. A soft, dry cloth restores everyday shine; for a deeper clean, warm water and a gentle brush are enough. Solid gold is made to be lived in.
Is there anything different about caring for gemstones?
Yes. Natural gemstones, like those featured in the KISMET collection, are more delicate than diamonds and benefit from a little extra care. Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture, and ultrasonic cleaners. We also recommend removing gemstone jewellery before swimming, showering, or strenuous activities. After wearing, gently wipe your piece with a soft, dry cloth and store it separately to help prevent scratches.
Can my piece be repaired or restored?
Yes. If your piece has a manufacturing defect within the two-year warranty period, we'll repair it at no cost. Beyond the warranty, or for services related to normal wear, such as stone tightening, polishing, resizing, or restoration, we'll assess your piece individually and provide a transparent quote before any work begins. Should I insure my jewelry?
For higher-value pieces, we recommend it. Your JAUR piece can usually be added to an existing home or contents policy, or covered through a dedicated jewelry insurer. Your Certificate of Authenticity provides the documentation most insurers require.
