Material, not mindset, reused.

Recycled gold refined to identical standards, preserving purity, structure, and performance.

Your jewelry doesn’t belong tucked away. JAUR Recycle gives it a second life, transformed into something new or credited toward another piece. The best jewelry isn’t just worn. It evolves

Your Renewal
Process

1. BEGIN WITH WHAT YOU OWN

Gather the 14k solid gold jewelry you’d like to recycle. Pieces can be from any brand, as
long as they are not gold plated or filled.Email us at hello@jaurstudio.com with photos and
a list of the pieces you plan to send. We’ll get back to you with a few questions so we can
confirm that we can accept your pieces.

2. SEND THEM OUR WAY

We’ll provide you with our shipping address — just send your jewelry to us with an insured
label. When it arrives, we’ll melt the gold down and refine it to its purest form, making it
equal in quality to newly mined gold. Please note that during the melting and refining
process, we can lose up to 25% of the gold due to heat loss, removal of impurities, and
other material that separates out as non-gold.

3. LET IT BEGIN AGAIN

We’ll email you $50 per gram of melted gold in the form of a JAUR gift card. Your credit can
be used toward any piece on our website or toward a custom project.

If you’d like us to create a bespoke piece, please fill out our repurpose questionnaire here.

Our Approach to Gold

1. WHAT IS RECYCLED GOLD?

Recycled gold comes from existing jewelry, industrial metals, or electronic components
that have been melted down and refined. Once brought to its purest form, it’s equal in
quality to newly mined metal.

2. WHY USE RECYCLED GOLD?

Choosing recycled gold helps reduce the demand for newly mined materials and
supports a more circular approach to jewelry — honoring both the past and the future.

3. HOW DOES IT WORK?

Recycling begins with refining. Impurities are removed during the melt, and any mixed
metals are separated to determine the true karat value. From there, the gold can be
transformed into a new piece you’ll love.

Some gold doesn’t need to be mined again, just reworked. JAUR Recycle gives existing gold a new life through careful refining and thoughtful design. What already exists is reshaped into something relevant now without losing its value, integrity, or intention.
